Every year for CSW we take with us, to New York, a group of around 15 young people, get them accredited and give the majority of them a chance to speak at a panel event. This has proved to be incredibly successful over past years with those who go offering a fresh perspective on important issues and showing the importance of the involvement of young people in this kind of event. For the young people themselves, they come home inspired to impart all they have learnt to anyone in their community willing to listen.
We will again be taking a group of young people this year. This time they are equipped with action plans to help them make the most out of their experience at CSW and when they return home.
